You will have a focus on either Energy (Power), Defence and Water sector related projects and be exposed to a range of engineering and professional services disciplines over time.You will be up for the challenge and in for the journey to play a key role in contributing to the growth of our Sydney team through excellent project delivery. At Beca we aim to attract and develop talented professionals who are committed to adding a fresh perspective for our growing client list.This role offers:* The opportunity to lead projects and deliver high quality work in direct communication with our clients.* The chance to work across the entire project life-cycle from Business Case development through to Design, Construction and Operation.* Access to industry leading specialists in the civil/transport infrastructure market and other related sectors.* Dedicated mentoring from senior leaders in our team to help you achieve your career goals and develop professionally.* A flexible working arrangement within a high performing close-knit team who are passionate about what they do.**What we’ll like about you**To be successful in the role, the following attributes are required:**Requirement:*** Demonstrated project management experience across one or more of the following sectors (Energy (Power), Defence and Water).* Project management experience, including leadership, procurement, cost control and management of complex projects following relevant Australian standards.* An in-depth understanding of project management principles and a desire to progress professionally in this field.* A passion and capability in building new client stakeholder relationships and enhance existing relationships.* Exceptional communication skills with an ability to build relationships both externally and internally.* An appropriate tertiary qualification aligned to project management, engineering or other related disciplines.* Due to the nature of the some of our projects, you may be required to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance for which you must hold Australian citizenship.**Desirable:*** Knowledge of Asset Management Systems and Frameworks.* Experience in participating or leading assurance activities.What is important is that you will bring a positive and tenacious attitude with an ability makes things happen and alignment with our company purpose to “Make Everyday Better”.**What we offer**A career with Beca will provide you with:* Flexibility & Wellbeing: We recognise that achieving a work-life balance is unique to everyone.
