Overview

Thredbo is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Purchasing & Administration Manager to join our year-round team. This role plays a vital part in the success of our Engineering Department, overseeing procurement, stock control, vendor management, payroll support, and administrative functions. You’ll work closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure efficient and safe operations, while also providing guidance to the administration assistant and fostering a positive, cooperative workplace culture.

About the role

- Overseeing procurement, stock control, and vendor management

- Managing engineering administration including payroll support, invoice processing, and WHS Safety Data Sheets

- Assisting with technical drafting

- Maintstar Maintenance tasking

- Promoting safety, compliance, and a positive team culture across the Engineering Department

About You

- Experience in purchasing, procurement, or administration

- Strong organisational and communication skills

- Supervisory or leadership experience desirable

- High level of customer service knowledge

- Ability to work collaboratively and foster positive workplace culture

- Knowledge of payroll or rostering systems (Coupa, MaintStar, Emplive) an advantage
