Cleveland Estate, situated in the historic country township of Lancefield has a brilliant opportunity available for a talented professional, Gardener to join us at our stunning, iconic property.

ABOUT THE ROLE

- Deliver exceptional presentation of the gardens, wedding sites and outdoor spaces across the Hotel

- Grounds maintenance exclusive of vines and viticulture

- Hands on role with a solid understanding of managing a large garden property.

- Knowledge of modern techniques in lawn mowing and edging, pruning trees and shrubs, clipping of topiary, fertilizing, planting, turfing, pest and disease control

- Make recommendations on the Hotel grounds and assist with the long-term planning and development of the complex.

ABOUT YOU

- Success in a similar role and exposure to a large scale garden operation

- An acute eye for detail and development of solutions to ensure the high standard is maintained.

- A good working knowledge of various types of associated equipment

- Ability to work under pressure in a varied, fast paced environment, by taking initiative and working collaboratively

- Positive mindset and a can-do attitude
