About Our Client

A global market leader in taste, nutrition and specialty ingredients is seeking an accomplished Commercial Director to lead its Australia & New Zealand business. This senior role oversees a multi-disciplinary team across sales, technical, and customer management, and plays a pivotal part in delivering growth across the region's most dynamic FMCG, health, and beauty manufacturers.

Job Description

The Commercial Director will be the key lead for ANZ to help shape the future of the business in the region. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to:

- Lead and develop a team of 30+ across sales, account management, and technical applications.

- Shape and execute the regional growth strategy across food, beverage, health, and beauty channels.

- Strengthen key customer partnerships within FMCG, food manufacturing, and personal care sectors.

- Identify new opportunities, categories, and innovation platforms to deliver sustainable growth.

- Foster collaboration across technical, operations, and regional support functions.

- Build a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous development.

The Successful Applicant

We are seeking a strategic commercial leader who can blend business insight with technical understanding in a B2B environment. You will likely have change and turnaround experience and show:

- Proven success in B2B ingredients, flavours, nutrition, or specialty chemical businesses.

- Strong networks within FMCG, food, beverage, health, or beauty manufacturing sectors.

- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and managing full P&L delivery.

- The ability to influence, coach, and drive engagement across a mature but evolving organisation.

- A balance of commercial sharpness, strategic vision, and hands-on leadership.
