Overview

Public Sector CSA Agreement 2024 - Level 7 - $139,860 - $149,485. This is a fixed term full-time opportunity commencing immediately for the period until 9 March 2026 with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency. This selection process may be used to fill other similar at level vacancies that arise within twelve (12) months. Applicants deemed suitable but not recommended may be considered for those roles.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to become the Manager Lessons Management within the Knowledge and Training Support Leadership Team as part of the DFES Learning and Development Portfolio. You will manage the DFES Lessons Management Business Unit and lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the DFES Lessons Management Framework in line with DFES policies, national standards, and industry best practice. This includes providing oversight, support, guidance, and advice to stakeholders throughout the DFES lessons management process.

You will guide and/or facilitate comprehensive post incident reviews using contemporary investigative techniques and produce high quality reports. This work requires collaboration with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, objective review, research, benchmarking and analysis of complex information to identify critical issues and develop pragmatic recommendations for operational performance improvement. You will monitor and report on the progress of implemented recommendations to ensure positive change.
