Milestone IT is currently partnering with a respected healthcare provider based in the northeastern suburbs of Melbourne. We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Support Analyst to join our client’s team on a contract basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the healthcare sector, contributing to meaningful projects while sharpening your data analysis skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Role Overview

As a Data Support Analyst, you’ll play a key role in managing, analysing, and presenting data to support internal teams in making informed decisions. You will be working closely with business and clinical teams to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and clarity.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean, format, and analyse datasets using Excel (VLOOKUP, PIVOT Tables, and formulas)
- Generate reports to support decision-making across various departments
- Assist with the ongoing maintenance and validation of healthcare data
- Work with stakeholders to identify and resolve data discrepancies
- Support ad-hoc data requests and reporting tasks
- Experience working with large datasets and complex spreadsheets
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Previous experience in a healthcare or similar regulated industry is highly regarded

About You

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PIVOT Tables essential)
