Clinical Nurse Specialist – Cardiothoracic Surgery
Location: Perth Children's Hospital, QEII Campus, Nedlands
Unit/Division: Child and Adolescent Health Service > Cardiothoracic Surgery
This is a Permanent Full-Time appointment.
Roles and Responsibilities
The CNS collaborates with the Cardiothoracic Surgery Head of Department and clinical staff to deliver quality patient care within the specialty. Responsibilities include developing standards of practice, implementing changes to clinical practice, educating staff, and initiating quality improvement activities. The CNS supports the HoD by supervising patient care delivery and working in partnership with the multidisciplinary team to improve the quality of care and patient outcomes in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
