About the Role Due to the continued expansion of our business, we are seeking high-performing, talented and detail-oriented project planning/programming consultants to join our Brisbane office. Working at RCP means you will be part of a strong, national business supported by experienced professionals who provide specialist planning, programming and delay claim advisory services. Role Requirements Applicants with 5+ years professional consulting experience across all time related aspects of building, development and construction processes and who meet the following criteria are encouraged to apply: - Tertiary degree qualified (construction management, engineering or similar) - Min 5+ years professional planning/programming consultant experience on Australian construction building projects >$25M - Knowledge of Australian construction law principles; - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities - Demonstrated ability to write clear and persuasive reports and advice - Proficient with Primavera P6, Asta PowerProject, Microsoft Project, PowerBI - Confident and professional communication and collaboration skills - Team player interested in furthering your career as a professional consultant programmer. Responsibilities - Providing specialist advice across a wide range of complex building construction projects - Reviewing building contractor’s baseline programmes, verifying contractual requirements and industry standard scheduling practices - Preparing programmes - development, master programming, program management, design, documentation and construction phase programmes - Writing polished and professional construction status reports, analysing impacts/delays and highlighting time risks, opportunities and mitigation strategies - Arranging and attending meetings with stakeholders - clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders - Providing sound programming advice during all project phases, contract administration advice, extension of time claims, delay analysis, disruption and acceleration advice - Analyse construction project data and schedules to provide time related advice - Prepare, review and draft contractual correspondence and expert reports - Manage and develop construction claims, including variations, EOTs, disruption and acceleration What’s on offer RCP offers attractive remuneration package and benefits for suitable professionals to join our specialist consulting team and the opportunity to work alongside industry leading construction professionals to develop your skills and knowledge on complex and diverse projects.
