Job Description

We are looking for a Full Time Data Analysis Officer to join our team and support evidence-based decision-making across the organisation. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on translating complex data into actionable insights and is passionate about contributing to the safety and wellbeing of individuals and families.

Our Data Analysis Officer will conduct, collate, and analyse data to support operational and strategic objectives at Safe Steps. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you’ll ensure data integrity, develop meaningful reports, and provide insights that strengthen service delivery and organisational outcomes.

Contract Type: Maximum Term, Full time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Analyse client data, demographics, and service usage to support operational decisions.
- Develop and maintain data collection and reporting frameworks.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual data reports.
- Support the organisation’s evidence-based approach through accurate and reliable data insights.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain data accuracy and accountability.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

- Tertiary qualifications in Data Science or equivalent or demonstrated experience in data analysis.
- Proven understanding and application of quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Office and Power BI skills.
- Experience working with client management data systems and reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Current Working with Children Check and willingness to undergo a National Police Check.
