THE COMPANY

A major international player in the water solutions and technology space, founded over 120 years ago, is a leading specialist in waste management and water solutions. The company employs over 90,000 staff globally, with over 2,800 of those based in the ANZ region. Having recently undergone a record start to 2022, the company is seeking to recruit a growth BDM to enhance their presence.

THE ROLE

Based in Sydney or Brisbane, you will work closely with the Senior Manager of the water solutions divisions to develop the geographical sales area professionally, in line with developing new business and supporting volume growth in existing accounts.

The focus of the role will be to sell our client's range of water solutions (water metering and network analytics with IoT) that provides an analysis of the compliance and effectiveness of the water treatment process. The customer base will focus on local councils and water utility companies in NSW & QLD.

Due to the focus on being proactive and productive, this role will give the successful candidate free reign to better focus and drive territory, ensuring the development and implementation of strong business and sales strategies to increase both revenue and profits.

Regular travel is required, as many of the target customers are local councils in regional NSW & QLD.

THE CANDIDATE

- Arriving with a strong technical sales background, you ideally will have sold to the target route to market customer base – water utility companies and/or local councils/authorities.
- Due to the technical nature of our client's solutions, applicants with highly technical sales backgrounds will be looked upon favorably.
- You may arrive with a background in selling a range of different products that may be suitable (industrial products – instrumentation, pumps, valves, decanters, actuators, pneumatics, hydraulics OR tech-based solutions – SaaS, IoT, telco, etc.).

For the right candidate, our client is offering up to $170k Base + Fully Maintained Vehicle + Commission + Super.
