Job Description
About the Role
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Container & Production Planner role will be responsible in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating container shipments and production schedules to guarantee timely delivery and meet customer deadlines. This role is all about optimising resources, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and reducing operational costs, whilst consistently delivering on customer demand.
This is a contract position of six months, offering the chance to make a real impact in a fast-paced, growing business.
Your key accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Review demand and safety stock levels and manage container purchase orders.
- Coordinate product delivery and production planning to meet customer requirements, including creating and prioritising job sheets and confirming jobs in the ERP system.
- Maintain accurate stock through cycle counts and resolve discrepancies, while supporting outsourced production and liaising with sales on orders and stock needs.
- Drive continuous improvement in planning and scheduling processes, support quality and environmental standards, and assist Operations and Production teams as needed.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Organisational Impact of Role:

About You
Success in this role requires someone who is organised, analytical and proactive with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage planning and scheduling in a fast-paced environment. They will also bring:
