Communication Officer (AO3) - Contract Opportunity - Townsville

We are seeking an AO3 Communication Officer to provide essential communication and stakeholder support across a wide range of planning, pre-construction, and construction projects. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality communications and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders while enabling senior team members to focus on more complex and time-sensitive matters.

The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth and effective delivery of project commitments by producing well-crafted communication materials and supporting engagement activities for low-risk project matters.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop clear and engaging communication materials, including correspondence, project flyers, social media content, and website updates.

- Support stakeholder engagement activities for low-risk projects, including responding to public enquiries via phone and email.

- Prepare and maintain project webpages, internal knowledge-base pages, and analytics reports.

- Coordinate flyer distribution and assist in the preparation of communication responses.

- Manage correspondence and maintain tracking systems to ensure timely follow-up and reporting.

- Source and maintain stakeholder information, lot details, and contact records in spreadsheets and consultation management tools.

- Assist with stakeholder meetings and liaise with engagement officers to support project delivery.
