What's the role?
Your next role as an Account Manager within the Hilti Industry team will see you having direct customer contact with the existing customer base and also a proactive role in identifying new customers. This role will focus on the QLD Façade industry with a goal of making our customers more productive, safe and sustainable. You will be responsible for growing sales by developing customers, introducing new products and services, and implementing sales strategies with our Façade customers in QLD.
What does the role involve?
The purpose of the role is to create value in the allocated account's portfolio through effective design and implementation of individual account strategies to build long term, sustainable and profitable relationships with the customer.
Your general activities include:
- Building relationships – you’ll be on the field, meeting with customers on a daily basis to capture the perfect business opportunity. You understand to create value in account(s) through long-term, profitable relationships
- Time and Territory Management (TTM) - creating a daily schedule (including presence on jobsites and client offices) to optimize client potential and sales productivity by zone territory
- Be a Hilti Champion – you’ll carry the technical knowledge to present high level customer consultations in your defined territory and represent the Hilti brand in the marketplace
- Tracking your progress – you’ll utilize Salesforce to record all the interactions you had to make a sale as reporting is a key part of this role
What you need is:
- Experience working within the Construction and Façade industry is advantageous
- Tertiary qualification engineering or architecture is highly desirable
- Previous experience as an Account Manager, Sales Representative or a customer facing role
- Solution selling and customer centric approach
- A valid Australian drivers license
- Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM is desirable
- Motivated & capable of working independently, managing your own call cycle
- Strong discipline, with the ability to manage accounts remotely and build relationships
- Proven negotiation and influencing abilities with advanced planning skills
