About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day administrative operations of our office. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth running of office services, compliance with workplace regulations, and effective support to staff and management.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the planning and review of office services, including setting priorities and standards.
Allocate office resources such as staff, equipment, and workspace.
Assign work tasks, supervise, and monitor staff performance.
Manage office records, accounts, and documentation.
Liaise with professionals and stakeholders to support office operations and resolve issues.
Ensure office supplies and equipment are maintained.
Oversee compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Ensure adherence to relevant government legislation, policies, and procedures.
Coordinate HR activities such as recruitment, performance management, payroll, training, and staff supervision.
Requirements
Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications: Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent).
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in office administration or management.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of workplace compliance and OH&S requirements
Competency in managing records, payroll, and office accounts
Ability to supervise and motivate staff effectively
