Your New Role and Responsibilities

Leidos Australia is seeking a motivated and experienced V&V Engineer to join our AIR6500 team to take ownership in the integration and verification within a major Defence program.

In this hands-on and collaborative role, you will support the integration, testing and validation within the broader AIR6500 Mission System. You'll work closely with engineers across domains, locally and internationally, to ensure successful delivery and system readiness.

Responsibilities include:

- Perform system integration and troubleshoot defects in an Agile environment.

- Develop and execute verification and validation (V&V) test procedures.

- Prepare test plans, procedures, and technical documentation.

- Liaise with teams across Australia and the US to support program milestones.

About You and What You'll Bring

- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering and/or equivalent relevant experience in Defence or complex logistics projects.

- Significant systems engineering experience, particularly in integration and test.

- Hands-on experience with Defence communications or combat systems (hardware and software).

- Solid understanding of Defence T&E processes and requirements

- Proven ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and lead integration activities.

- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
