About the Role

As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the delivery of specialised equipment and enclosures for major projects across power generation, resources, and infrastructure. This hands-on role will see you working from concept through to completion, collaborating with a team of engineers, project managers, and trades to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical systems and components for custom-built equipment and enclosures

- Prepare detailed 3D models, drawings, and documentation for manufacturing

- Support projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring technical and quality standards are met

- Work closely with fabrication and production teams to resolve technical challenges

- Liaise with project managers, suppliers, and clients to provide engineering support

- Contribute to continuous improvement in design processes and standards

Skills and Experience

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

- Minimum 3 years experience in mechanical design within manufacturing, fabrication, or heavy industry

- Strong skills in CAD (SolidWorks or similar) for 3D modelling and drafting

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

- Knowledge of fabrication processes, structural design, or enclosures (desirable)
