We are hiring for a Mechanic to join our team.

The future we’re working towards is one where waste is a valuable resource. Our fleet plays an essential role in getting us there, by enabling us to collect, carry and dispose of a range of waste and recyclable material. Our Mechanics are crucial for keeping our trucks, trailers and other mobile equipment safe, maintained and operational. Because of this, as a Mechanic you will be a fundamental part of the business.

- You’ll never get bored Our fully owned fleet of vehicles have a range of engineering equipment across our engines and trailers. No two days will be the same, as you’ll get stuck into a wide range of hydraulics, electrical to mechanical systems

Who you are

- You’ll be a natural problem solver, with the ability diagnose and find solutions to a range of mechanical problems

- You’re a qualified Heavy Vehicle, Mobile Plant, Light Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic, or Auto-Electrician with experience in a range of facets of preventative maintenance and repair of vehicles including trucks and trailers

- Strong understanding of safety

- You’re a team player, willing to pitch in, support and help when required

- You’ll be willing to attend to breakdowns after hours, on a rostered basis (overtime is paid for this)
