The Department of Health is looking for a Project Support Officer to join their Team in the South.

The Team:

The Programming and Delivery unit within Infrastructure Services is responsible for the planning, design and delivery of the State's health capital program through:

- programming, planning, documenting, managing and delivering capital works projects
- developing and implementing effective and efficient processes to support the delivery of the capital program
- procuring consultants and contractors, managing construction and commissioning and continuously improving capital works systems and processes.

The Role:

The Project Support Officer works within the Programming and Delivery team and will:

- Provide project support services that assist senior staff and management in the planning, coordination and delivery of project activities and outputs associated with the successful delivery of asset strategies projects within Infrastructure.
- Assist the Project Managers with the development, management and implementation of initiatives and programs to deliver projects.
- Undertake specific administrative and project support services as directed.

You will need to:

- Undertake and assist with the preparation, coordination, updating and distribution of project documentation including project plans, business cases, reports, correspondence, agendas, and minutes.
- Provide administrative and project support services to the project teams and relevant stakeholders to assist with projects being successfully managed through to completion, including the delivery of required furniture, fittings, and equipment (FF&E) projects.
- Undertake data related activities, including data research, creating, and compiling reports, and analysis of trends to support the management and coordination of planning processes, projects, and policy development in Programming and Delivery.
- Create Purchase Orders and monthly claim approvals via Finance One, including providing relevant documentation to management as required.

Details of appointment: General Stream, Band 4

Permanent, full-time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, based in the South and commencing as soon as possible.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $81,915 to $94,263 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
