South Western Sydney Local Health District is seeking a dedicated Sterilisation Technician Grade 2 to deliver high-quality sterilisation services that directly support Infection Prevention & Control and enhance patient outcomes.

The role involves operating advanced reprocessing equipment for decontamination, disinfection, packaging, and sterilisation of reusable medical devices, ensuring timely and accurate sterilisation for surgical procedures and clinical settings, and maintaining clear communication with the CSSD team and clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate advanced reprocessing equipment for decontamination, disinfection, packaging, and sterilisation of reusable medical devices.
- Ensure timely and accurate sterilisation for surgical procedures and clinical settings, including Oral Health.
- Maintain clear communication with the CSSD team and clinical staff using strong verbal and written skills.
- Use basic computer systems to ensure traceability and accountability of instrument sets.

What We’re Looking For:

- A Certificate in Sterilising Services and current hands-on experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate within a dynamic team of Sterilisation Technicians.
- A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement in patient care.
- Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
