Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior On-Site Technician to provide expert technical support and maintenance across our IT infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in Windows Server 2012/2016, Microsoft Office 365, and Azure Active Directory, along with strong problem-solving capabilities and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

You will be the primary point of contact for onsite IT issues, managing escalated incidents, performing system maintenance, and contributing to infrastructure improvements across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide advanced on-site technical support to users and departments, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Maintain and administer Windows Server 2012 and 2016 environments, including patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Support and manage Microsoft Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Manage and troubleshoot issues related to Azure Active Directory, user identities, access policies, and device enrolments.
- Ensure timely resolution of Level 2 and Level 3 support tickets and act as the escalation point for complex issues.
- Perform server and network diagnostics and escalate infrastructure issues as required.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including hardware provisioning and user account management.
- Support infrastructure projects and contribute to planning and implementation activities.
- Document systems, processes, and support procedures clearly and thoroughly.
- Train and mentor junior technicians where required.

Key Skills & Experience: Essential:

- 5+ years in an IT support or technical services role, with a focus on onsite support.
- Proficiency in Windows Server 2012 and 2016 – including Group Policy, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 – Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and administration portals.
- Solid understanding of Azure Active Directory – user management, conditional access, and identity security.
- Experience with networking concepts including TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Desirable:

- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MS-900, AZ-104) highly regarded.
- Experience with endpoint management tools (e.g., Intune, SCCM).
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments.

Qualifications:

- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications preferred.

Salary $80 - $100K
