Overview Position Title: Hospital Service Assistant - Holiday Relievers Position No: Pool Ref 00004922 Unit/Directorate: Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Health Care Group > Patient Support Services Work Type: Permanent - Full Time, Permanent - Part Time What is this role? In this role, you will be responsible for providing assistance under the direction of clinical staff with transferring, lifting, repositioning and ambulation of patients while delivering an excellent standard of customer service. Roster and shifts - AM shifts: start from 0600 to 1030 hours; latest finish 1830 hours. - PM shifts: start from 1200 to 1730 hours; latest finish 0030 hours. - NIGHT shifts: start from 2030 to 2355 hours; latest finish 0755 hours. Holiday Relievers are rostered to cover all shifts as required over a 7-day period. Rostering may include weekends and variable days off to ensure leave coverage. Eligibility to apply Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector.
