Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health is a not-for-profit community health organisation providing a comprehensive range of free and low-cost health, wellbeing and community services in early childhood, youth, families, adults, aged and disability. Covering an area of over 1700 km 2 from Sunbury to beyond the borders of Macedon Ranges Shire our 220 staff and 70 volunteers are based across four sites at Kyneton, Romsey and Sunbury. The organisation has a proud history of delivering community health services to the region for over 40 years. Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health builds the social fabric of our communities through diverse services and programs that help people support themselves and each other.

About the Role

Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health (SCCH) is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as the Manager Mental Health and Wellbeing. This is a unique opportunity to drive positive change, lead multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high-quality, integrated mental health and wellbeing services across the local government areas of Hume, the Macedon Ranges, and Mitchell Shire.

As the Manager Mental Health and Wellbeing, you will:

- Provide strategic and operational leadership to a diverse team delivering counselling, alcohol and other drug (AOD) support, and family violence services.
- Oversee service delivery operations, budgets, and performance, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and innovative workplace culture aligned with SCCH's values and the social model of health.
- Build and maintain effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, funding bodies, and community networks.
- Respond proactively to sector changes and identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and community outcomes.
- Champion continuous improvement, evidence-based practice, and health promotion across all aspects of the unit.

About You

You are a highly experienced and motivated professional who demonstrates:

- A passion for leading and inspiring teams to achieve excellence and improve client and organisational outcomes.
- Commitment to the principles of community health and the social model of health.
- Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and integrated service delivery programs.
- Strong knowledge of current evidence-based practice in mental health, AOD, and family violence.
- The ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and communities, including those experiencing marginalisation or disadvantage.
- Reflective, strategic, and systems-focused thinking, with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
- A leadership approach that promotes SCCH's values of inclusion, respect, and empowerment.
