Veterinary Practice Manager

Sunbury Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time/part-time Practice Manager to join our vibrant and enthusiastic team. You will become part of the team of amazing vets and our highly skilled, technical nurses. We pride ourselves on building trust in our relationships and maintaining a focus on mental well-being for all staff.
We operate with integrity, striving to be exceptional, compassionate and professional in all aspects of veterinary care. We are passionate about patient advocacy and maintaining the very best standards and up-to-date knowledge. We have served the Sunbury community for over 40 years and have a dedicated and trusting clientele who we enjoy a great relationship with. We are open Monday 8am - 7pm, Saturday 8am -4pm. No after hours and closed on public holidays.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing the day to day running of the clinic
- Supporting staff with training and development
- Guiding the team through positive workplace culture and promoting mental health
- awareness- Overseeing of rostering, stock management, marketing and administration tasks- Managing the financial performance of the clinic, COGs, procurement, accounts, budgets,
and profit and loss- Leading on work health and safety compliance, facilities and maintenance, assets and
equipment as well as cleaning and presentation standards
- Being highly engaged in customer experience and complaint resolutions- Working closely with the Clinical Leader to uphold industry standards and innovation,
forward planning for the clinic and team decisions.
About you:
- Management experience strongly recommended
- Nursing experience needed
- Possess strong decision making, problem solving and organisational skills
- Ability to adapt and support change within the team and clinic
- Have a passion and vision for growth
- Inspired to support and develop the team
- High level of customer service skills
- Confident in dealing with conflict
