At Oral Health Victoria (OHV), we are committed to delivering safe and supportive environments for our teams. We’re currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Injury Management and HSW Partner to join our dynamic team and make a real impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this critical role, you will be responsible for both injury management and supporting a positive Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) culture across our organisation. Your responsibilities will include:

Injury Management & Return to Work

- Coordinate and manage workers’ compensation and non-work-related injury cases
- Lead return-to-work (RTW) processes, liaising with employees, managers, medical providers and WorkCover agents
- Manage compensation payments, PIAWE, and payroll reconciliations
- Maintain accurate case files, injury management plans and documentation
- Provide expert advice and support to leaders managing injured or ill employees
- Ensure compliance with WIRC legislative requirements and organisational policies

Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) Support

- Promote a strong safety-first culture across the organisation
- Partner with OHV stakeholders and external providers
- Support and drive wellbeing initiatives and HSW campaigns
- Participate in incident investigations, quality and safety walks, and workplace risk assessments
- Contribute to HSW Committees and internal HSW Networks
- Report on injury trends, claims performance and safety statistics

What You’ll Bring

- Experience in injury management, RTW coordination, or workers’ compensation case management
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with employees and stakeholders at all levels
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation (e.g. WIRC Act)
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting to measure the success of injury prevention, management and Return to Work initiatives
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting people through recovery
- Certificate IV in Cert IV Personal Injury Management (Return to Work) is desirable
- Return to Work Coordinator certification is desirable
- Certificate IV in WHS/OHS is desirable (Diploma highly regarded)
