- $1,298.72 (working towardsqualification) or $1,339.96 (fully qualified) gross per 38 hourweek, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65%superannuation.

- Rostered Day off eachmonth.

About the position

The Working at Heights Arboristposition will be responsible for the maintenance of tree assetswithin the Region using recognised arboricultural practices.

This position will work underremote supervision.

How to be successful in this position - SuccessCriteria

- Hold the mandatoryqualification(s), training and/or experience, as outlined underthe 'Success Criteria' in the Position Description .

- Demonstrated ability to exercise skills in a more complexarea or to a more advanced degree than trade level.

- Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain plant /machinery, and carry out daily services.

- The ability to ensure all work is performed to meet safetylegislative requirements and responsibilities of Council.

- Ability to effectively lead, motivate, administer andmanage a team to meet agreed performance and servicestandards.

- Demonstrated ability to understand directions and tocommunicate effectively with internal and externalstakeholders.

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability toprovide accurate timely advice in a helpful and supportivemanner.

- Ability to perform physical labouring tasks.Understanding of andcommitment to Council’s Organisational Value andBehaviour of Accountability.
