Are you experienced in horticulture or general labouring and looking for a hands-on role with a reputable local business?  Our client, a well-established and family-owned arborist business in Toowoomba, is looking for a motivated and reliable person to join their small, close-knit team.  Specialising in tree removal, stump grinding and a variety of arborist services, they deliver top-quality tree care throughout Darling Downs and South East QLD.

About the Role:

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a strong work ethic and takes pride in doing quality work as part of a supportive team.  Experience in horticulture, landscaping and general outdoor labouring is highly regarded, and a current HR licence is essential for operating heavy vehicles and equipment on site.

Location: Toowoomba, QLD

Pay: $30 - $35 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm - please note, this can vary depending on the day.  (Overtime is available)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with tree removal, pruning, and stump grinding services across Toowoomba and the Darling Downs region.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
  • Work alongside a small, experienced team that values a collaborative approach.
  • Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they're in top working condition.

What You'll Need:

  • Manual driver's licence (essential).
  • Experience in tree lopping or similar outdoor work desired, however, not essential.
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Positive attitude and a team-focused mindset.
  • Good physical fitness and stamina for working outdoors in various conditions.
  • Current HR licence (essential)
