About the Role
We are hiring for multiple Project Manager/Senior Project Manager opportunities in Group Risk, where you will manage and support the delivery of Non-Financial Risk activities responding to the APRA Enforceable Undertaking. These roles play an integral part in ensuring timely delivery of activities, with the required quality and outcomes achieved.
We have multiple opportunities available for Project Manager and Senior Project Manager to be offered as fixed-term contracts. Your experience and capabilities will determine the level of appointment.

Role Location: Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane
Work Hours: Full time, 40 hrs/week
What will your day look like?
We are a dynamic fast paced delivery environment and the focus areas for these roles will develop and evolve as program delivery progresses.
As a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, you are accountable for:
- Managing the end-to-end delivery of projects under the APRA EU program, with a focus on Non-Financial Risk initiatives
- Translating regulatory requirements into executable workstreams that drive sustainable uplift in risk capability
- Ensuring project alignment with the bank’s Risk Management Framework and regulatory expectations
- Establishing and maintain effective project governance, including detailed reporting, risk tracking and stakeholder engagement
- Partnering with senior stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Audit, Legal and the business to ensure alignment and delivery of key milestones
- Preparing high quality reports and updates for Group executives, internal governance forums and APRA.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Proven experience delivering risk and regulatory initiatives in financial services
- Strong knowledge of Non-Financial Risk, Risk Management Frameworks and the Three Lines of Defence
- Expertise in business analysis tools and documentation standards
- Expertise in managing complex stakeholder landscapes, navigating ambiguity and driving clarity, to meet tight deadlines
- Expertise in applying enterprise delivery standards and producing high-quality artefacts across project lifecycles.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, including Senior Executive levels, with clear communication across business and technology areas
- Strong communicator with experience drafting executive reports and regulatory submissions
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for driving meaningful change
