15h Left: Distribution Substation Design Engineer

We are actively seeking an experienced Distribution Substation Engineer with knowledge in Distribution projects. We are pursuing a motivated individual who can contribute to the team, pays close attention to detail and isn't afraid to be innovative.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Responsible for the provision of engineering expertise, design, estimating and design management of distribution substation projects
- Kiosk Substation Replacements and/or Upgrades
- Completing Ground Level, Mezzanine Level and Basement Level Substation designs
- Completing Kiosk Distribution Substation Designs
- Retrofitting of existing Distribution Substations
- Undertake minor surveying activities in accordance with the customer requirements, agreed timeframes, cost effective manner.
- Prepare detailed construction plans for distribution substation design projects and maintain system records in accordance with appropriate standards and customer requirements.
About you
- Demonstrated experience in distribution substation design projects.
- Understanding of architectural and structural building plans
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills
- Understanding of Safety in Design practices
- Be willing to learn new technology and innovations
