Maintenance Planner/Parts Procurement Officer

We deliver 29 key services such as childcare, waste collection, parks maintenance, libraries, community facilities and aquatic centres to over 370,000 residents.

The role

Were looking for an organised and motivated individual to support our Fleet Department through efficient scheduling, planning, and parts procurement. This role also provides essential administrative support to help ensure the smooth and effective operation of Councils fleet services.

Duties

- Arrange workshop bookings to ensure the requirements of preventive & corrective maintenance Fleet programs are established and maintained
- Assist Team Leaders in the procurement of maintenance parts and materials
- Ensure internal and external customer expectations are met through prompt handling of enquiries.
- Undertake word processing, workshop job sheet data entry to the Ausfleet data base.
- Carry out other office duties such as filing, printing, photocopying, and scanning as required.
- Processing of invoices as required to meet Our Requisition needs.
- Undertake a variety of work within the multi-skilled team environment
- Perform other duties as directed by Coordinator Workshop Operations

You will have

- Previous experience in a workshop administrative customer service position
- Skills in Microsoft Office
- An understanding of mechanical workshop operations in a Fleet environment
- Computer skills in applications such as Microsoft Office suite of software
- Previous customer service experience

The salary range for this opportunity starts at $77,261 (Grade E, Step1) + 12% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
