Provide trauma-informed intake support for individuals on the Redress waitlist.

What you’ll do

Join our Redress team supporting individuals who have experienced significant trauma in institutional settings. As the first point of contact, you’ll assess readiness for casework and offer short‑term support or referrals while people are on the waitlist. You’ll also:

- Engage with clients to identify immediate needs and provide trauma‑informed intake support

- Triage enquiries and coordinate referrals to appropriate support services

- Assist clients with early‑stage records retrieval, including ID and paperwork preparation

- Uphold confidentiality, maintain professional boundaries, and ensure accurate documentation

- Build relationships with stakeholders and contribute to continuous program improvement

The details

- Maximum term contract to 30/6/26 – 4 days per week

- Base location Parramatta with flexibility to work from any of our RA centres in NSW in line with business needs

- Approx $48 per hour (depending on skills and experience) + 12% super, 17.5% leave loading and tax‑free salary packaging up to $15,900. (Increase your take‑home pay Calculate your savings at https://www.salary.com.au/calculate-your-savings)

What you’ll bring

- Formal qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or other relevant discipline

- Demonstrated experience in intake, assessment, and coordinating referrals within a trauma‑informed framework

- Strong communication skills and commitment to delivering quality service to both internal and external clients

- Ability to triage client needs effectively and respond with empathy and emotional insight

- Confidence using technology, including Microsoft Office, to support administrative tasks and maintain timely, professional records
