Join us as Operations Manager at Western Sydney University Villages - champion residential wellbeing & oversee our daily operations.

Role Overview

The Operations Manager is a key leader within the residence, responsible for driving operational excellence while fostering a thriving community. Working closely with our General Manager Portfolio, you will oversee daily operations and the customer service team, with a strong focus on resident wellbeing and the delivery of the Student Life and Wellbeing Program.

As a member of the broader Management team, the Operations Manager champions initiatives that place resident care and community engagement at the centre of our business.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the Residential Life & Wellbeing Program, delivering events and initiatives that build community.
- Ensure a positive resident experience through proactive support and collaboration with university services.
- Oversee daily operations, including occupancy, contracts, inspections, and facilities.
- Recruit, mentor, and motivate staff to create high-performing, customer-focused teams.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships to enhance UniLodge reputation and success.

About You

With a background in student services, residential settings or hotels, you will bring:

- Unlimited Working Rights in Australia
- Valid National Police Check & WWCC
- Strong empathy and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and guide residents effectively.
- Proven ability to bring innovative, fresh ideas to an evolving student centric environment.
- Strong time management skills and ability to juggle competing priorities during peak periods such as O-Week, exams, recruitment, and training.
