Location: Corporate Centre in Sandringham, with the flexibility to work from home

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Business Support Officer to join Corporate Services in a newly created role on a 2-year fixed-term, part time basis.
Reporting to the Director Corporate Services, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the various administrative functions of the Corporate Services Leadership team
- Providing excellent customer service and optimising efficiency
- Coordinating meetings, compiling agendas, taking minutes and providing support in meetings
- Manage the Council Agenda Planner for Corporate Services
- Provide user support for Council’s report management system
Key Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:
- Strong integrity and ability to build trust and interact at all levels of the organisation
- Provision of a very high standard of customer service
- Skilled in working on multiple activities simultaneously and meeting deadlines
- Experience using word processing, spreadsheets, webforms and knowledge of key Council systems (or capability to complete internal training where necessary)
- Demonstrated ability to be adaptive and contribute effectively to a team environment
- Relevant practical work experience
Mandatory pre-employment requirements
- Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check
- Provide or obtain an employment-based Working with Children check
