The Role

As a Technician at Coregas in Darra, you’ll play a vital part in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting gas systems and equipment for our Queensland customers and Air Separation Plants. You’ll work hands-on with a variety of technical systems, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence every day.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Install and maintain plant and equipment in line with company and industry standards.
- Estimate and execute system installations, including procurement, preparation, and coordination with contractors.
- Complete planned and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, and record-keeping.
- Manage tools, equipment, and critical spares for assigned projects.
- Support internal and external audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements at all times.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and business improvement activities.

About you

- Trade qualified in mechanical or plumbing, with at least 5 years’ relevant experience
- Skilled in piping, welding, troubleshooting, and technical drawings
- Skilled in compression fittings and tube bending
- Safety-focused, detail-oriented, and accountable
- Strong communicator and team player
- Customer-focused, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
