What you’ll do

An exciting new Dispensary Technician position is available at Pindara Private Hospital. This is permanent full-time position on a rotating roster which includes weekend shifts. As the Dispensary Technician, you’ll be supervised by a qualified pharmacist as you prepare medications and process prescriptions for our valued patients & customers.

- Assist the Pharmacist with the dispensing of medication.

- Remain up to date with PBS legislative requirements impacting the pharmacy/dispensary.

- Strive to provide specialised patient care to our valued patients and customers.

We are seeking someone with the following attributes or experience

- minimum Certificate II or III in Community Pharmacy.

- excellent understanding of PBS and private prescription pricing and processing.

- sound understanding of S2, S3 and S4 medications and associated regulations.

- highly organized and with a strong attention to detail.

- excellent customer service skills and able to work well as part of a team.

- experience in clinical trials and/or oncology is highly desirable.

You must be focused oncustomer service and able todemonstrate enthusiasm, energy and excellent communication skills.

It is a mandatory requirement that you provide:

- Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases

- A national police check conducted within the last 12 months
