About The Opportunity

This role supports a unique healthcare unit, supporting administrative tasks for SWSLHD student pipeline programs, including delegation for day to day ClinConnect system administration. Reporting to the Manager of the Future Workforce Support Unit, this role collaborates with various programs within the team, including:

- VET in Schools Program
- Work Experience Program
- Internal Nursing and Midwifery Facilitation Service
- Student Compliance and Verification

Responsibilities

The Administration Officer Future Workforce is responsible for providing a comprehensive range of administrative functions to support the Future Workforce Unit within Education & Organisational Development Services. The position supports all administrative functions for student placement programs, VET in schools and other student pipeline programs. The role represents the public face of SWSLHD to prospective students and needs to demonstrate excellence in customer service to both internal and external customers. The role will also support the broader administration team as needed.

- A qualification in Administration and/or previous experience in an administration role.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating student placement programs and understanding related compliance requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to solve problems, make decisions and work independently within the role’s scope.
- Model organisational values through behaviours and interactions with managers and staff.
- Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those with a NSW license of different class must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2) within three months of appointment. Learner’s licenses are not permitted.
