Working closely with our team in SA and soils laboratory, we are looking for a true consultant to grow our Geotechnical business in Victoria. We are looking for a candidate that can balance the commercial and technical outcomes for our clients, servicing both our external and internal clients.

We are looking for outstanding interpersonal skills and a candidate can guide, develop and grow a team around them. As a key member of the Victorian Leadership Team, you will relish challenges and work with others as One Team to succeed.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

- Manage all aspects of a growing Geotechnical team
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Provide geotechnical advice to internal and external clients
- Preparation of quotes and tenders
- Undertake geotechnical investigations and assessments
- Supervising, mentoring and peer reviewing the technical work of other team members
- Interact with and provide guidance within our NATA accredited materials testing laboratory

Key selection criteria:

- Tertiary qualifications in civil/geotechnical engineering or related discipline
- Proven skills in building and maintaining client relationships
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong report writing ability
- Flexibility to work either in the office, out on site or interstate
- Experience with geotechnical software packages is highly regarded
