The Organisation

Following a recent machinery-of-government review, a new ACT Health and Community Services Directorate has been established with effect from 1 July 2025. The Directorate:

- oversees the ACT health system and the delivery of policy and planning for publicly funded health services across the Territory; and

- is responsible for a wide range of human services policy and service delivery functions, including funding of community organisations, to assist people who are disadvantaged or experiencing a crisis.
