Job Description

- Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and company policies.

- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits on-site in Laverton North.

- Provide safety training and awareness sessions to staff and contractors.

- Investigate workplace incidents and prepare reports with recommendations for improvement.

- Collaborate with the Engineering & Manufacturing department to ensure safety protocols are integrated into operations.

- Maintain records of safety inspections, risk assessments, and training activities.

- Act as the main point of contact for HSE matters within the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HSE Coordinator should have:

- Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.

- Experience in the industrial or manufacturing industry.

- Strong knowledge of Australian health and safety regulations.

- Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.

- Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures effectively.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and preparing detailed reports.
