Overview

Step into a leadership role with real purpose, managing one of the organisation’s flagship stores, the largest and highest-profile site across remote Northern Australia. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced retail management couple to oversee a full-scale supermarket operation, lead a large team including Duty Managers, and make a genuine difference in local communities, all while enjoying a balanced lifestyle and an exceptional package.

The Opportunity

As the leadership couple of a flagship regional supermarket, you’ll oversee the end-to-end performance of a major retail site, driving operational excellence, team engagement, and community impact.

Your focus will include

- Managing all aspects of a high-volume grocery operation
- Coaching and developing Duty Managers and local employees
- Maintaining strong stock control, merchandising, and compliance standards
- Driving profitability and financial accountability
- Building positive relationships across culturally diverse communities

About You

You’re a seasoned retail management couple with deep experience in FMCG, supermarket, or high-volume environments. You thrive in large-format stores, love leading through others, and enjoy creating a positive, training-focused culture.

You’ll bring

- Proven success leading multi-department teams
- Strong financial acumen and KPI management experience
- A hands-on, people-focused leadership style
- Resilience and adaptability to life in remote regions
- A genuine interest in contributing to community development
- Full Australian Working Rights (This role does not support Sponsorship)
