About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Program Director to lead the delivery of complex, high-value digital transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing policing capabilities and community safety. This role is central to the coordination and governance of multiple projects across NT Government agencies, ensuring alignment, adoption, and successful implementation of technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage multiple high-value, complex business/system projects.

- Oversee project streams, including internal teams and external vendors.

- Ensure successful adoption and integration of solutions into operational environments.

- Apply project management methodologies to ensure effective planning and delivery.

- Manage risks, issues, and governance aligned with policing objectives.

- Monitor and report on program benefits and outcomes.

- Support change management, training, and communications.

- Analyse legislative and regulatory requirements relevant to the program.

- Communicate complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience

- 5–10 years in program/project management roles.

- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

- Proven experience in project planning, risk management, and delivery.

- Demonstrated success in solution adoption and operational integration.

- Experience in change management and user engagement.

- High-level negotiation and stakeholder liaison skills.

- Ability to interpret and apply complex legislative/regulatory requirements.

Desirable Skills and Experience

- Experience in large, complex, and high-profile program environments.

- Understanding of IT Service Management frameworks.

- Technical knowledge in system analysis, design, and integration.

- Experience in government, law enforcement, or frontline services.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Office Suite, JIRA, and SharePoint.
