Consultant / Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon – Regional VIC | 2 hours to Melbourne | Up to $420,000 +

The role

Deliver safe, efficient and patient-centred general orthopaedics at consultant level, including:

- Outpatient clinics (schedule by agreement with the Clinical Director/CMO)
- Theatre lists and peri-operative care
- Consultative support to ED and inpatient teams
- Collaboration with community health services

Casemix includes

pre-/post-op care, upper & lower limb, major joints, hip & back problems, fractures and acute injuries (adult & paediatric).

About you

- AHPRA Specialist Registration (Orthopaedic Surgery, FRACS) or RACS “Substantially Comparable” assessment (IMGs welcome)
- Broad general orthopaedics skill set
- Demonstrated teaching and research experience
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and service improvement
