Our Manufacturing & Maintenance – Transport business is on the lookout a motivated and detail-oriented Production Support Administrator to join our supportive team

About Your Role

The Production Support Administrator will play a critical role in supporting the production team by managing key administrative processes, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. This role requires a hands-on, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

- Provide administrative coordination and support to the production team.
- Produce and process production orders directly from the workshop floor.
- Perform general administrative duties, including word processing, photocopying, filing, and ordering stationery.
- Input and maintain maintenance records, including work orders, asset movements, and service order work scopes.
- Assist with raising purchase orders (POs), ordering PPE, and managing training and compliance records.
- Ensure all records are maintained, and QI documentation is collated and submitted to Document Control.
- Help manage and replenish the Build Line Point of Use (POU) system, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Maintain Build Line whiteboard, Line Walk delayed spreadsheets and displayed documentation.
- Provide support in Non-Conformance Report (NCR) processes, ensuring efficient closure.

About You

We are looking for an experienced professional, who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and has a strong ability to multitask. To thrive in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with SAP systems.
- Good understanding of production planning and quality control principles.
- Excellent communication skills, including negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Experience in industries such as rail, automotive, military, defence, avionics, or other safety-critical environments (highly desirable).
- An independent and proactive approach to managing tasks and priorities in a busy environment.
