As a Senior or Associate-level Civil Designer, you’ll have the opportunity to work on landmark transport infrastructure projects that are shaping Far North Queensland’s future. Positions are available in both Cairns and Townsville.

You will

- Lead the design of roads, drainage, and civil infrastructure from concept to delivery.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale infrastructure projects.

- Apply Road Safety and Design Philosophy principles to enhance outcomes.

- Mentor junior designers and foster technical excellence.

- Engage with clients to deliver tailored, high-quality solutions.

- Champion innovation, safety, and best practices in every design.

About you

- At least 8 years’ experience in civil design within a consultancy environment.

- Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and local road authority requirements.

- Advanced proficiency in 2D/3D CADD software and transport infrastructure modelling.

- Proven ability to manage scope, time, and cost across multiple projects.

- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

- Passion for mentoring and developing others.
