We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Workshop Controller to work in our busy Kia/Renault service team in Narellan.

About the role

- Manage daily tasks for a team of technicians.
- Oversee technician productivity and efficiency.
- Prioritise repair orders for timely completion.
- Assist with technical problem-solving.
- Suggest additional work to the Service Advisor team for customer notification.
- Ensure repair orders are completed correctly for warranty procedures, seeking clarification when needed.
- Lead qualified technicians and apprentices to optimise service delivery.
- Ensure all work meets manufacturer benchmarks.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist in setting and achieving service sales and profit objectives.
- Control workshop activity to maximise profitability.

What we are looking for

- Relevant trade qualifications and hands-on automotive experience
- Previous Workshop Controller experience highly regarded, but not essential
- Hold a current and valid driver’s license
- Strong time management skills with a reliable and punctual work ethic
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- MVTC (Motor Vehicle Tradesperson Certificate) is essential
- Air-Conditioning License preferred, but not mandatory
- ASCIS & AUVIS Licenses desirable, but not essential
- High level of care, attention to detail, and pride in workmanship
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with all procedures and standards
