The Church Administrator Role
As the church administrator, you will be the organisational heartbeat of the church— providing vital support to our pastoral team, elders, ministry leaders and congregation. This multifaceted role oversees the church's day-to-day operations, manages administrative and financial systems and helps create an environment where ministry can flourish.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee bookkeeping, payroll, MEB accounts and monthly reporting.
- Maintain church records, manage venue bookings, coordinate contractors and support pastoral care systems.
- Assist the Pastors, Board, Treasurer and Secretary with communication and documentation.
- Manage policies, insurance, Safe Church compliance and support risk management.
- Coordinate newsletters, event promotion, Sunday service slides, social media, website updates and advertising.
- Welcoming all who call, visit, or reach out to the church.

About You:

- Committed Christian with a heart for local church ministry and alignment with our mission.
- Skilled communicator, highly organised, and confident managing multiple priorities.
- Holds a Certificate IV in Business, Ministry, or similar or has extensive relevant experience.
- Qualification in bookkeeping, finance or communications desirable but not essential.
- Applicants must have the right to live and work in Australia.
- Hold a current Australian driver's license.
- Possess a Blue Card or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
- Possess a National Police Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.

Additional Information:

- This role has the option of fulltime or part-time hours with flexible working arrangements, salary and conditions negotiable based on the recommendations of Churches of Christ.
- Commencement date will be negotiated.
