Melbourne, Australia Aboriginal Health Council of Western Australia Full time

About Us
EnergyAustralia is one of Australia’s largest energy companies with around 2.4 million electricity and gas accounts and 1.6 million customers across eastern Australia. We own, contract, and operate a diversified energy generation portfolio across Australia, including coal, gas, battery storage, demand response, wind and solar assets, with control of over 5,000MW of generation capacity. Our purpose is to lead and accelerate the clean energy transformation for all.

About the Team
The Marketing Operations team sits within our Customer – Products & Marketing business unit. We’re the engine room behind our BAU and “Always-On” customer communications. We oversee the end-to-end process with precision and care—making sure every message is accurate, timely, and compliant, while always keeping the customer at the heart of everything we do.

About the Role
As our new Operations Analyst, you’ll lead and coordinate the delivery of business-led changes across our suite of BAU customer communications. This role ensures all communication updates and changes are implemented accurately and in a timely manner, are compliant with regulatory obligations and align with business objectives. Your day-to-day will include (but will not be limited to) the following:

- Working with key stakeholders to understand business objectives, capture requirements and define the scope of planned work
- Conducting UAT and PVT on all communication assets to ensure it meets all requirements and validation checks
- Undertaking exception management activities through the daily monitoring and reconciliation of communications and reports
- Developing, maintaining, and enhancing business process documentation to support consistency, efficiency, and continuity across the Marketing Operations function
- Support strong governance and operational effectiveness by driving process improvements, managing vendor performance, and ensuring compliance with agreed frameworks
- Building relationships across the business to ensure seamless delivery of communication initiatives.

About You
You’re a meticulous problem solver with a passion for customer communications. You thrive in regulated environments and know how to turn complex requirements into clear, actionable plans. Other aspects we’d love to see from you include:

- Extensive experience in customer focused operational roles, ideally within energy, utilities, or other highly regulated industries (with specific retail energy regulatory and compliance experience viewed favourably)
- Prior experience working in a customer focused communications role involving products and/or services with mass-market reach
- A good blend of Business Analyst and Project Coordination fundamentals (gathering detailed business requirements, translating requirements clearly, briefing key vendor partners, ensuring they deliver on a consistent basis, tracking performance and progress, etc)
- Outstanding attention to detail; someone who can easily work with large and complex data sets, recognise anomalies, and mitigate risks through excellent quality control processes
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field viewed favourably.

Why Us?
We’re committed to providing an inclusive culture so our people can bring their whole selves to work and have a sense of belonging. From our PRISM network that creates a positive culture for LGBTI employees to our Reconciliation Action Plan that has commitments to strengthen relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and organisations, it’s a workplace where everyone’s welcome.

We also offer;

- Genuine work life balance through our flexible ways of working
- Discounts on your energy bills for you, your friends and family
- Recharge and relax with two extra days of leave each year (we call them recharge days)
- Volunteer days off to help charities make a difference through volunteering
- State-of-the-art Melbourne office with stunning views and only 3–4-minute walk from Southern Cross station
