About the role

You will be responsible for providing support in delivering a high-quality customer focused early childhood education and care service to the children in a designated section of Council’s Early Education and Care Service.

About you

Thesuccessful candidate will have:

- 18 years+ (as required by Education and Care Services National Regulations)

- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification.

- A current ‘Paid Worker’ - Working with Children clearance(NSW).

- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with young childrenboth on an individual and smallgroup basis.

- Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and effectivelywith staff, children and families.

- Demonstrated ability to contribute as an effectiveand efficient team member in an environment that requires flexibility andinitiative.

- Demonstrated knowledge ofthe National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework and associated initiatives.

- Customer service experienceand complaint handling skills.

- Ability to safely lift 15kg.

- Current approved Qualifications under Education and Care ServicesNational Regulations for First Aid, Emergency Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management.

- A demonstrated understanding of principles, standards, and expectations outlinedin the Child Safe Standards, along with the associated responsibilities

Salary range

From $1250 per week (+ super) to $1448 per week (+ super) paid on a pro-rata basis dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitablecandidate.
