About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Business and PrivateClient Advisory division, which supports a range of small, mediumand large private businesses and family groups, along with somenot-for-profit and foreign owned businesses. We offer a widerange of services including accounting and tax compliance, businessand tax advisory, structuring, superannuation, wealth managementand transactional services.

You will be an integral member of our highly functioning teamthat specialises in the property sector. Led by 3 partnersand supported by a team of 7, you will manage a large portfolio ofkey clients, whilst leading and developing a team. Key dutiesinclude workflow management, job delegation, and client advisory.This role demands strong client service, and leadership skills,while ensuring productivity goals and budgets are met andescalating issues when appropriate.

Key responsibilities

- Manage a large portfolio of SW clients
- Achieve productivity targets and client budgets; delivervalue-added services
- Support and lead team members for optimal performance
- Allocate staff and resources to meet client and firmcommitments
- Identify and develop potential business opportunities
- Actively participate in BPCA management team
- Attend manager meetings and conferences
- Advise Associate Directors and Directors of any necessarymatters
- Ensure administrative compliance
- Perform other duties as required, including interviewingstaff, training, committee membership, marketing, and specialprojects

Key skills and experience

- Minimum 8 years' experience in Business Services at aChartered/CPA accounting firm
- Prior experience with property development clientspreferred
- Degree and CA/CPA qualified
- Up-to-date technical knowledge of taxation law andaccounting developments
- Proven networking skills and client relationshipexperience
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meetdeadlines for a large group of clients
- Experience mentoring and managing junior staff
- Skilled in handling sensitive client mattersdiplomatically
- Professional presence with strong interpersonal andcommunication skills
- Proficient with Xero, MYOB, Reckon, and MicrosoftExcel
