We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Business Services Manager to lead client relationships and team operations in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
About the Role
In this senior role, you will manage a portfolio of clients across a range of industries, overseeing all aspects of accounting, taxation, and compliance. You'll act as a key advisor to clients on tax matters and business structures and lead a team of five professionals. The role involves working closely with the Director to ensure seamless service delivery and strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of clients across bookkeeping, tax returns (individuals, companies, trusts), BAS/IAS, SMSF compliance, and advisory services
Provide expert guidance on tax planning and optimal business structures
Be the go-to advisor for client tax queries, ensuring high-quality, timely support
Supervise, review, and mentor a team of five accountants and bookkeepers
Collaborate directly with the Director on strategic initiatives and client engagements
Maintain high standards of compliance with ATO regulations and accounting standards
Improve internal processes and contribute to ongoing team development and innovation
Key Requirements
CA/CPA qualified with a minimum of 5 years' experience in public practice
Strong technical knowledge across tax, trusts, SMSFs, and business structuring
Proven leadership and staff management experience
Experience using Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and Active Business Fitness
Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
A client-focused mindset with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
