Lead Strategic Approvals for WA’s Most Significant Projects
The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation is seeking an experienced and driven individual to step into the role of Senior Manager – Cross Sector Triage and Major Projects. Based in Joondalup with the option to work from our Perth CBD hub, this leadership position plays a critical role in managing assessments and approvals for major state projects under the Lead Agency Framework and eventually supporting the Coordinator General’s functions.
You will lead a team of skilled professionals, providing expert oversight and strategic advice on complex industrial developments. This role is central to streamlining approval pathways, enhancing cross-agency collaboration, and ensuring transparency across government processes. If you’re ready to take on a high-impact role that contributes to sustainable development across the state, we encourage you to apply and help shape the future of Western Australia.
As a department we recognise that flexible working arrangements support effective work-life balance, empowers our people and increases team productivity. We are committed to creating an equitable and diverse workforce that promotes an inclusive and supportive workplace environment. We value the unique diversity of experience that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, people from culturally diverse backgrounds, women and youth bring to our workforce.
